Hardware

The protocol is software. When the infrastructure is modern, it runs on it. When it is analogue — and most of the world is — these are the devices that give it a voice.

The hardware exists so the analogue world can take part: it is the enabler of the retrofit, not the product.

URBANODE NODE — the main family

It turns existing infrastructure into a node of the protocol: it runs the five checks locally, it is the final authority, it operates without a network and it acts on the equipment through the interface it already has (volt-free relay, digital input, API).

Ports, heavy industry, environments with hardened requirements: dual power supply, hardened secure element, extended radio. The ATEX and marine variants derive from it, for service stations and saline environments.

It gives verifiable identity to a vehicle, machine or vessel that cannot integrate the SDK into its onboard system. Compact enclosure, vehicle power, proximity radio and connectivity, with its own secure element.

Reader and proximity module for people: installed next to the door or turnstile, it provides the local channel when the node sits in a cabinet or further away. Wall format, discreet, powered by the node.

The energy session module

Made to order

It brings signed settlement of the energy session to charging points that do not ship with it: it authenticates the asset, authorizes the session and signs the settlement. It is the device with the best commercial story, because the circuit is already validated in production.
